Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient/internal medicine clinic under supervision. Administer medications via oral, inhalation, or injection routes; assist with medical/surgical procedures; perform diagnostic testing such as EKGs and basic labs; document patient information in the EMR; educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication management; ensure infection control and HIPAA compliance; maintain a clean, safe clinic environment; coordinate with healthcare providers to support patient care plans; monitor daily logs (e.g., narcotics, refrigerator temperatures, vaccines) and uphold clinic policies; reliable attendance and adherence to policies.
Required Qualifications
- LPN license or LVN license required
- BCLS/BLS certification required
- State licensure required for practice
- 0-2 years clinical or outpatient experience preferred
- U.S. work authorization required
