Job Summary
Record medications and treatments administered, including PRN effects, and document significant resident observations. Store medications safely, account for controlled substances, and order, store, and administer tube feedings. Assist the manager in planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes for caregivers. Provide wellness services to residents in the Oasis Assisted Living facility while maintaining their dignity and quality of life. Schedule is part-time, Thursdays through Saturdays. Fellowship Square is a non-profit Christian Care Community offering affordable senior housing with a family-like environment for residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for Licensed Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing
- Must hold a current, valid LPN license in the State of Arizona
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- CPR/First Aid card
- fingerprint clearance card
- current TB test
- Understand DHS rules
- Must be flexible
- Must have a desire to communicate and work with seniors
- Must be motivated
- Must be a self-starter
- Must have a passion for serving seniors
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a geriatric setting
- Experience in an assisted living or long-term care environment
