Job Summary
Administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies while supervising non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department. Ensure Certified Nursing Assistants properly administer services and maintain adequate coverage on each shift. Participate in the direct care of residents at our 60-bed Long Term Care facility. Active Virginia LPN licensure and experience in long-term care are required. This role offers an increased pay rate for PRN work at Heritage Hall Lexington, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley with a focus on human touch and community integration.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Must have active LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care preferred
