Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, while monitoring and documenting health status for pediatric and adult clients in home and school settings. Support clients with activities of daily living and ensure a safe environment for children in school nursing roles. Collaborate with families and the care team to implement personalized care plans. Maintain current New York State LPN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and required medical documentation. Flexible shifts available across Nassau and Suffolk Counties with pay up to $38/hour based on case and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State LPN license
- 6+ months of experience in home care/school
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Physical exam within the past year
- QuantiFERON within the past year
- MMR documentation or titers
