Job Summary
Provide client services for medical issues and monitor clients' medical status, including signs and symptoms of withdrawal. Deliver direct client care through medical assessment, implementation of orders, and communicable disease reporting. Interpret medical information for clients and collaborate with clinical staff for continuity of care. Document medical consultations, assessments, examinations, and treatment plans consistent with agency policy. Work in various clinical settings within the residential program to support the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department
- Basic computer skills

- Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency
