Job Summary
Conduct clinical patient care aspects within a correctional environment under the supervision of RNs, HSA, or physicians. Respond to patient needs while maintaining nursing standards and ethics in accordance with State Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies. Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Requires current LPN license, BLS certification, and state-approved nursing graduation. Additional $5/hr differential applies to all hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program
- Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment
- American Heart Association BLS certified
