Job Summary
Provide skilled professional nursing care as prescribed by physicians while administering, documenting medications, and conducting comprehensive resident assessments. Obtain and relay information from off-going nurses, verify narcotic counts, and give daily reports with task assignments for nursing assistants. Monitor dining rooms during mealtimes, supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs, and assist in training new staff. Perform and document admissions, transfers, and discharges; observe residents for condition changes and report to physicians or families. Address resident, family, or physician concerns by reporting issues to the Unit Manager or Shift Supervisor. Provide education to residents and families on medical issues, disease processes, medications, and safety. Respond quickly to emergencies by initiating life-saving measures. Work full-time shifts including day (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) and evening (2:45 PM–11:15 PM) rotations with every other weekends off. Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted LPN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
- CPR certification
- Work 7 days out of every 14
- Every other weekend off
- Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- 12-hour shift
- Evening shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
- 8-hour shift
- Option to work 4 days per week
- Rotating weekend schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
