Job Summary
Conduct client assessments, administer medications, and manage wound care while providing primary care and chronic disease education in home and community settings. Deliver holistic, person-centred care to children, youth, adults, and seniors, including specimen collection and rehabilitative programs, often while driving to client locations. Requires a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license, a current Vulnerable Sector Search, and a reliable vehicle with access to PPE. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse license in the province of practice
- Valid driver's license
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Current and original copy of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment
- Physical activity including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine hand movements
