Charge Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Care Initiatives in Cedar Rapids, IA. Responsibilities include conducting ongoing assessments of residents’ clinical status and contributing to individualized care planning; delivering and overseeing direct nursing care including wound treatments, IV therapy, catheter care, and other skilled interventions per physician orders; administering medications with safe monitoring and documentation; serving as a clinical leader by coordinating resident care and communicating with physicians, nurse leadership, residents, and families; supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff; ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and infection prevention practices; providing education and emotional support to residents and families to foster trust and understanding of care plans and health goals.
