Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under supervision of department leadership, supervises CNAs, assists providers, administers medications, maintains accurate documentation in electronic medical records, conducts rounds, participates in shift handoffs, ensures infection control, supports resident care planning, and communicates with providers and families. Opportunities available for Part Time and Full Time; compensation starts at $30/hour and increases with experience; must be a VA-licensed LPN with CPR and CDP certification within first year.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia
- read and write effectively in English
- two (2) years of nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, and/or assisted living setting preferred
- CDP certification within the first year of hire and CPR certification
- ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- current CPR certification
- Nursing license (LPN) in VA
