Job Summary
Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under direct RN supervision while reviewing medical records to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Document care provided, report changes in resident status to the shift supervisor, and validate all referrals for consultation or treatment. Demonstrate basic skills for the assigned unit population, seek opportunities for professional growth, and implement goals consistent with FutureCare's nursing facility philosophy. Maintain competency levels through continuous learning and effective communication with staff, residents, and families. Requires an active Maryland LPN license, current CPR certification, and one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR license
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
