Job Summary
Provide appropriate nursing care under RN direction by gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures consistent with PAM Health policies. Focus on age and population-appropriate care for patients on the medical-surgical unit while performing other assigned duties. Requires current LPN/LVN licensure, BLS certification, and IV certification within 90 days of employment. One year of inpatient experience preferred. Hourly rate ranges from $30 to $40, with shift differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
