Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for Friday and Saturday evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) at Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions in Centennial, CO. Responsibilities include administering medications according to physician orders, maintaining and documenting resident care plans, coordinating with and supervising ancillary personnel, and reporting care issues as required. Requires Colorado LPN license in good standing and IV Certification. One year of experience in a long-term care setting and in supervising staff is preferred. Must have computer word processing and database experience, be able to read/write/speak English, and exhibit excellent customer service. The role involves moderate physical effort and potential exposure to chemicals and biologicals, with duties focused on resident care in a facility environment.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license, in good standing
- 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred
- 1-year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred
- IV Certification
- Must have computer word processing and database experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
