Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (Floor Nurse)

Monitor patients, ensure safety and protocol compliance, and assess acuity changes while communicating findings to physicians. Take and record vital signs, dispense medications, and respond to emergencies by obtaining necessary orders. Place laboratory and pharmacy orders, analyze results, and screen new admissions for appropriateness. Supervise monitoring stations, delegate tasks, and lead community meetings as needed. Monitor on-site narcotics to prevent theft and abuse. Act as supervisor during manager absences and participate in Performance Improvement Committee meetings. Collaborate with all team members and external agencies.
