Job Summary
Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers skilled nursing care across multiple units, including High Intensity Care, Brain Health, and Long-Term Care. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, obtaining histories, documenting and reporting changes, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, participating in unit meetings and quality initiatives, and rotating to assigned units as directed. Strong communication, adaptability, and a commitment to compassionate, safe care are essential; position supports day and night shifts with rotating weekends in a Baltimore, MD setting. BLS-certified LPN with an active Maryland license (or eligibility) and a high school diploma are required, with ADN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland LPN license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing preferred
