Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Float Pool - Days -Levindale Hospital

Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across assigned units while conducting ongoing patient assessments and collecting clinical data. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders, monitor patient conditions, and promptly communicate significant changes to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team. Obtain and document patient histories, perform focused assessments, complete admission documentation, and maintain accurate records within the electronic medical record. Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, provide patient and family education, and address cultural, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other team members to promote optimal outcomes, participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings, and demonstrate flexibility by floating to various units throughout the facility. Work every other weekend as required.
