Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care under the DON, recording resident interactions to support thorough documentation. Duties include monitoring residents’ vitals, maintaining cleanliness and comfort, assisting with basic medical tasks such as administering medications, updating confidential resident records, evaluating wellbeing, explaining treatments to residents and families, changing dressings, and assisting with mobility (transfers between wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys). The role supports short- and long-term care, rehabilitation, respite, and hospice services across facilities in Maine, with benefits including tuition reimbursement, robust shift differentials, PTO, and 401(k). Education requirement is a High School diploma or GED, and licensure as an LPN in Maine. Openings available for full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts (days, evenings, nights).
