Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in the Family Birth Center and communicates with physicians, nurse leaders, RNs, and coworkers regarding changes in patient condition and diagnostic results. Adheres to service-excellence standards, remains calm in unexpected crises, and flexes schedule to meet unit needs, including weekends and holidays. Maintains required licensures and certifications, and completes telemetry classes within six months of hire. Proficient with basic computer use, EMR systems (Meditech preferred), and capable of working with telemetry monitoring. English communication skills required; additional languages preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current State of Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- New hires must complete telemetry classes within six months of hire
- Cardiac Monitoring is required
