Job Summary
Charge Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care including wound treatments and IV therapy (as permitted), catheter care, and other skilled interventions; administers medications with safe documentation; acts as clinical leader coordinating resident care; supervises CNAs and staff; ensures adherence to regulations and facility policies; collaborates with interdisciplinary team; provides education and emotional support to residents and families; shift options include full-time and part-time evenings at a 71-bed long-term care community in Corydon, IA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in good standing (Iowa)
- License valid within state of Iowa or ability to activate
- Current, valid CPR Certification
- Documented completion of State-approved LPN Supervisory Course or ability to obtain within first 90 days of employment
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws
