Job Summary
Deliver essential nursing care in the clinic setting by performing patient intake, administering medications, and conducting diagnostic testing such as EKGs and basic lab tests. Provide direct patient support including wound care, assisting with medical procedures, and educating patients on treatment plans and preventative care. Document all symptoms, history, and vital signs in the electronic medical record while maintaining a clean, sanitized environment and monitoring daily logs for compliance. Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care plans and ensure timely follow-up via portal messages and phone calls. Requires LPN or LVN licensure, BCLS certification, and 0-2 years of clinical experience; no weekends, holidays, or call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years' experience in a clinical or outpatient setting
- Proficiency in direct patient care, including medication administration and diagnostic testing
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Understanding of infection control protocols and clinic safety standards
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Empathy, compassion, and professionalism in patient interactions
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure
- LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse
- BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Authorization to work in the U.S. for an employer
