Job Summary
Conduct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and medical professionals in the Emergency Room. Provide care to energetic and enthusiastic individuals while maintaining excellent communication skills and empathy. Ensure thorough understanding of patient care protocols and maintain current Basic Life Support certification. This as-needed position requires availability for at least 12 bi-weekly hours with rotating shifts, with additional hours requested by supervisors as needed to accomplish work objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of empathy
- Thorough understanding of patient care protocols
- Available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly
- Graduated from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association (AHA)
