Job Summary
Pass medications, administer skilled treatments, and monitor Nursing Assistants while following resident care plans. Report unusual symptoms, manage controlled substances, and maintain documentation in Nursing Notes and medical records. Conduct skin and diabetic assessments, update families, and participate in change-of-shift reports and quality assurance programs. Float to at least two facilities of your choice across Western, Central, Southern Tier, North Country New York, Vermont, and Rhode Island. Requires a current NYS license, two years of experience, and ability to supervise staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS License/Certificate
- Clinical Staff must have a minimum of 2 years' experience to be eligible for employment
- 4 shifts monthly, out of 4 shifts at least 2 worked on weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday), & 2 major holidays per year
- Current state license
- Two (2) years of working experience in current LPN license
- Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel
- Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others
- Caring, respectful attitude towards residents
- Regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- Training and LPN work experience in a geriatric setting preferred
