Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) sought for full-time Endoscopy Nurse on the Advance/Tanglewood team. The RN collaborates with the physician and anesthesia providers to determine patient needs during endoscopic procedures, assumes responsibility for patient care, documents and evaluates nursing actions, and ensures a safe care environment. The nurse will facilitate quality patient care, assist with scheduling and service delivery, travel to multiple locations, and participate in orientation and training of Endoscopy staff. Requires 1-2 years of medical-surgical or Endoscopy experience, current NC nursing license (or compact state license), BLS, transportation with NC driver’s license and insurance, and willingness to obtain ACLS within one year. The role involves collaboration with providers, potential duties across multiple sites, and no weekends, nights, or on-call per benefits description.
Required Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Nurse License
- Current Compact State License acceptable in NC
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years in patient medical-surgical or Endoscopy experience
- Willing to obtain ACLS certification within one year of hire
- Transportation – must have transportation, NC Driver’s License without restrictions and vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel to various locations including other sites
- English literacy at high school level
