Job Summary
Provide bedside nursing care as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Desert Peak Care Center. Responsibilities include monitoring patients’ vital signs, maintaining cleanliness and comfort (bathing, feeding, dressing), administering medications in collaboration with nursing/medical staff, updating confidential patient records, evaluating wellbeing and reporting needs, explaining treatments to patients and families, and changing dressings to ensure proper healing. Night and weekend shift differentials with flexible 12-hour schedules; opportunities for full-time/part-time/per diem based on needs.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- BLS Certification
- Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
