Job Summary
Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor patient conditions while documenting care accurately. Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and provide patient education to promote wellness. Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment at the Cherokee County Detention Center. This full-time day shift role includes a rotating schedule with every other weekend off and offers a sign-on and retention bonus.
