Job Summary
Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor patient conditions while documenting care accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff to respond to urgent and emergency medical situations. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and provide patient education to promote wellness in a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment. Work rotating day shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, including every other weekend, at the Cherokee County Detention Center as part of Southern Health Partners' collaborative healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
