Job Summary
Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient conditions while documenting care accurately. Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and provide patient education to promote wellness in a safe, respectful environment. Work a full-time day shift rotating schedule including every other weekend at the Cherokee County Detention Center.
