Job Summary
Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor patient conditions while documenting care accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff to respond to urgent and emergency medical situations. Maintain accurate electronic medical records, provide patient education, and promote wellness to ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment. Work a full-time day shift from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on a rotating schedule including every other weekend at the Cherokee County Detention Center.
