Job Summary
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the chemical dependency unit, assisting in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and medication administration while providing emotional support and education to patients and their families. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports the Brainerd Lakes Area's top vacation destination community, offering evening rotation hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a 56-hour every two weeks schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or obtained within 3 months of employment
- Free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding hiring
- Statement attesting to being free of chemical use problems
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
