Job Summary
As a Charge Nurse, provide nursing leadership to the clinical team on one or more units and direct overall operations to ensure high-quality, compliant care in a long-term care setting. Hold a current LPN license (or ability to obtain a state license) and apply knowledge of nursing practices, state regulations, and LTC guidelines. Demonstrate supervisory/management experience in long-term care and be capable of performing essential functions of the role to support residents and staff in a patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Hold current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific license.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and the applicable state laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the long-term care facility.
- Supervisory/management experience in Long Term Care (LTC).
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
