Job Summary
Prepare and assess patients for provider visits, observe and report patient responses to medical care, and implement the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care under physician direction. Collaborate with physicians and health care team members to meet patient needs, label and package specimens, and act as a chaperone during examinations. Assist providers with procedures, treatments, and interventions, while performing assigned clerical duties. Requires active state LPN licensure and BLS certification. Located in Lima, Ohio, within the Center for Pulmonary Care at Lima Medical Office Building.
Required Qualifications
- Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to all ages of the patients
- Ability to learn and use a computer-based patient appointment scheduling and registration system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills

- One year of clinical patient care experience
