Job Summary
Deliver, coordinate, and evaluate resident care in alignment with physician orders, individualized service plans, and regulatory standards. Administer and document medications, assist residents with activities of daily living, and monitor vital signs to detect condition deviations. Review and revise assessments, initiate education plans, and respond promptly to call lights and life-saving situations. Supervise care staff, maintain restraint-free environments, and support fall prevention programs while ensuring effective communication with families and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current state license for LPN or RN
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance
- Ability to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently
- Ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to follow all infection prevention and control protocols
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Ability to participate in all staff activities aimed at fostering teamwork, unity, and morale
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player
- Ability to stay current on all training and ongoing education initiatives
- Ability to actively pursue self-improvement and embrace opportunities for continuous learning
- Successful completion of a background check
- Successful completion of a drug screening
- Participation in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
- Ability to use designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and applicable law
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of nursing experience
- CPR or BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
