Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, coordinates, and evaluates resident care in alignment with physician orders and regulatory standards; responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, documentation, and direct resident support, plus leadership duties such as guiding care staff, promoting safety initiatives, and ensuring effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and leadership. The role requires administering medications, monitoring residents, reviewing and revising assessments and care plans, performing vital signs, ensuring a restraint-free environment, supporting nutrition and hydration, assisting with activities of daily living, coordinating appointments, and contributing to program implementation, safety, and resident well-being while collaborating with other staff and adhering to regulatory and facility policies.
