Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Cardiology

The Cardiology LPN provides a wide range of clinical support in an outpatient Cardiology setting, working closely with physicians, APPs, RNs, and other clinical staff under supervision to deliver patient care. Responsibilities include responding to patient calls and messages, communicating test results, conducting nurse visits with patient assessments, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and EKGs, implementing provider-directed care plans, processing prescription refills, completing medical forms (FMLA, disability, surgical clearance, etc.), coordinating referrals, and providing patient education and support. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficient clinic operations, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Requires current LPN licensure (or valid Compact State license) and BLS certification. Cardiology experience is preferred but not required, and strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.
