Job Summary
Provides basic nursing care in a non-acute ambulatory setting under supervision, including assisting with examinations and procedures, administering approved oral and injectable medications, documenting patient data, coordinating tests and referrals, preparing exam rooms, educating patients on health behaviors, and supporting a collaborative care team in a Prisma Health Care Today Clinic environment. Ensures compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies, participates in ongoing professional development, and may serve in preceptor or shared governance roles as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing
- Licensure: Holds a current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an LPN in the state the team member is working.
- Experience: No experience required.
- In lieu of LPN program: In lieu of completion of a LPN program, program equivalency recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
