Job Summary
Update and maintain electronic medical records with vital signs, demographics, and medication reconciliation. Manage physician inbox messages, prioritize tasks, and assist in maintaining medical inventory by placing orders and stocking rooms. Escort patients to exam rooms, provide patient education on medications and disease management, and assist physicians with exams and procedures. Administer and document medications, perform injections, phlebotomy, point-of-care lab testing, and EKGs. Be cross-trained in infusion and intake while adhering to the five medication rights. Requires current NYS LPN license, BLS certification, IV competency, and bilingual Russian/English skills. 5/8.5 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Starting salary $36/hr with comprehensive benefits including health insurance on day one.
Required Qualifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- IV Competency
- Consistent professional conduct

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals
- Experience with EMR's
- Reliable transportation to any of NYH locations for patient care needs
- Bilingual Russian/English
