Job Summary
LPN or LSW in a behavioral health access/transfer-center role coordinating inpatient admissions for mental health patients across facilities; handles acceptance/throughput in a call-center environment, collaborates with providers and facilities, ensures regulatory compliance (EMTALA/HIPAA), proficient in EHR data entry, problem-solving, and effective communication to facilitate timely bed assignment and appropriate level of care; supports evenings, nights, and days with a six-week rotation, on-call and rotating holidays; requires designated HIPAA-compliant workspace and ability to operate in a healthcare-contact-center setting; remote work available across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Active multistate/compact LPN licensure required (compact licensure applicable based on state of residence) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required
- Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Bachelors degree, Social Work (required)
- 1 year of mental health intake experience required
- Epic electronic health record (preferred)
- Genesys contact center (preferred)
- IT: minimum internet speeds 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload (preferred)
- Office setting with HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Ability to work in a designated workspace with secure access per HIPAA
