Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides and documents skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in compliance with care plans and physician orders. Successful candidates will have a current LPN license, CPR certification, and one year of hands-on nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN license
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test -2 step (current within last 12 months)
- One year prior hands-on nursing experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Continuing Education as required by state
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases
