Job Summary
Provide nursing care to residents on assigned unit; administer and record medications/treatments as ordered; complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary; educate residents and families on health care instructions; collaborate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities; assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients; communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patient condition, changes, medications, and vitals; provide direct care to residents as needed; direct unit staff as necessary; report to Unit Nurse Manager on resident and staff issues; requires LPN license and Multistate license with 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate; benefits include Health/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K, PTO, tuition assistance and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Current and Valid LPN license
- Multistate licenses must be accompanied by the 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate
- First aid and CPR certifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
