Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Assisted Living/Long-Term Care setting. Provides direct resident care under physician orders, administers medications and treatments, performs assessments, and participates in daily resident rounding. Requires active PA LPN license and CPR certification; one year of geriatric/long-term care experience preferred. Full-time shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., compensation $31.00-$36.00 per hour with differentials for part-time/PRN. Must be able to assess and communicate effectively with residents and follow the Plan of Care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required
- One-year experience working in Geriatric or Long-Term Care setting preferred
- CPR certification required
- Ability to assess and effectively communicate with residents
- Plans, directs and provides care to residents according to physician orders and the Plan of Care
- Administers medications and treatments
- Performs resident assessments
- Participates in daily resident rounding
