Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering compassionate nursing care to individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Duties include conducting basic nursing assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient health, collaborating with the treatment team, and providing patient education. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple urgent tasks while maintaining compliance with regulations. Candidates must hold a valid LPN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment (required).
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (required).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in behavioral health, SUD treatment, psychiatric care, or residential/inpatient healthcare.
- Experience working in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed setting.
