Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supporting healthcare providers in patient care tasks including medication administration and monitoring patient health. The role involves ensuring residents receive correct medications, maintaining documentation and recordkeeping, facilitating effective communication with medical staff, and adhering to infection control protocols. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, a current Florida LPN license, and preferably one year of experience. Key skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and effective problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Florida License as a LPN
- One year experience preferred
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and Google)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong time management skills
- Effective problem-solving, reasoning and critical thinking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience providing services and support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
