Job Summary
Provide routine, standardized nursing care for patients under physician supervision, including assisting with examinations, procedures, and administering prescribed medications and treatments. Obtain patient histories, document vital statistics, and arrange appointments for diagnostic testing and referrals. Prepare and clean exam rooms, monitor medical supply stock, and screen clinical telephone messages requiring provider action. Educate patients on health behaviors and self-care skills while maintaining a safe, compliant environment. Complete annual compliance training and participate in shared governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing
- Holds a current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an LPN in the state the team member is working
