Job Summary
Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under the direct supervision of an RN, while reviewing medical records to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Document care provided, report changes in resident status to the shift supervisor, and validate all referrals for consultation or treatment. Demonstrate basic skills required for the assigned unit population, set and implement goals consistent with FutureCare's nursing facility philosophy, and seek opportunities for professional growth to maintain competency levels. Hold an active Maryland LPN license with a current CPR certification, and possess one year of nursing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR license
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
