Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for adult inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric and substance-use treatment at TaraVista in Devens, MA. Full-time 32-hour evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, support multidisciplinary treatment teams, and apply crisis intervention and de-escalation skills to maintain a safe therapeutic milieu. Responsibilities include caring for patients with psychiatric and substance-use needs, therapeutic relationship-building, and contributing to care planning; CPR is required and Massachusetts LPN licensure is necessary. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed by the State of Massachusetts
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries
- Previous experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient care, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention (preferred)
