Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff to address physical and behavioral health needs. Respond to a range of patient requirements while maintaining appropriate scope of practice. Work full-time night shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekends. Maintain an active Illinois LPN license and current CPR certification. Obtain necessary security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check. Join Centurion's team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois, supporting the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois
- Ability to obtain a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to obtain a drug screen
- Ability to obtain a criminal background check
