Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of registered nurses and medical staff, responding to physical and behavioral health needs while maintaining the appropriate scope of practice. Maintain active CPR certification and secure required security clearances, including drug screening and criminal background checks. Work full-time day shifts with Fridays and Saturdays off, or rotating weekends. Join Centurion's team delivering comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections at Shawnee Correctional Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Availability for Full-time Day shifts with every Friday-Saturday off (or rotating weekends, if preferred)
