Job Summary
LPN at Open Arms Care (OAC) providing compassionate nursing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a full-time 7pm-7am schedule. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, recording vital signs and medical documentation, assisting physicians, training staff and clients in health-related areas, responding to emergencies, managing medication storage per state guidelines, participating in ISP and interdisciplinary meetings, ensuring client safety and assisting with activities of daily living, and rotating on-call duties with the nursing team. Requires active Tennessee LPN licensure, valid Tennessee driver’s license, strong communication, organizational skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Location: Ooltewah, TN. Sign-on bonus of $2,500 for full-time roles; opportunities for growth toward RN advancement and other career pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Current Tennessee LPN license
- Driver's license valid in Tennessee
- Ability to lift/reposition up to 50 lbs
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and organizational skills
