Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 7127

Full-time School-Based LPN needed to support holistic student health in Howard County. Responsibilities include responding to medication-related inquiries and consulting with medical staff on regimen changes, overseeing MAR documentation, recording in school records and the MHS electronic system, phoning prescription orders to pharmacies, reviewing labs and reporting concerns, obtaining medical histories and performing physical assessments (including vital signs and point-of-care testing), providing health screenings, administering injectable medications, delivering group and one-on-one education about medications and health issues, completing clinical documentation for medical staff review, participating in treatment planning reviews, maintaining student health records with annual screenings and immunization tracking, acting as liaison with students, caregivers, and external providers to clarify orders and arrange referrals, and supporting third-party billing documentation. Travel up to 5% for training and coverage at other locations as needed. Requires Indiana LPN license, Accredited Nursing Program completion, and 2 years of nursing experience.
