Job Summary
Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under the direct supervision of an RN, while reviewing medical records to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Document care provided, report changes in resident status to the shift supervisor, and validate all referrals for consultation or treatment. Demonstrate basic skills required for the assigned unit population and consult with other nursing staff as appropriate. Maintain competency levels by seeking professional growth opportunities and implementing goals consistent with FutureCare's facility philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR license
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
